China Immigration Medical

When travelling to China, certain visa types require a visa medical examination. This medical ensures that travellers are healthy enough to enter the country and do not carry communicable diseases, such as tuberculosis. China’s visa medical typically involves a straightforward process, including a physical examination, blood tests, a 12 lead ECG, and a chest X-ray to check for TB.

Travelling Information

China is vast and diverse, so it's essential to research the specific region you are visiting. Stay updated on health requirements, especially vaccinations, and consider bringing bottled water as tap water is not safe to drink. Mandarin is widely spoken, so a translation app or guidebook can be helpful.

The most iconic place to visit is the Great Wall of China, a marvel of ancient engineering. Another must-see is The Forbidden City in Beijing.

Tests Included

  • Physical examination

  • Blood tests for the following:
    HIV, Syphilis and Blood group

  • Urinalysis

  • 12 lead Electrocardiogram
