Visa medicals
Our clinic is registered with the FCDO (UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Office). We have extensive experience in providing visa medical services to all destinations.
We specialise in medical services for visas to countries of the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
The prices include the consultation cost. Also listed is the average time taken (working weekdays) for the report to be completed, this will depend on the tests required.
Different countries require different tests. Please bring the required paperwork with you to the consultation (except for the following countries where your report is provided by us: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Cyprus, Spain and Greece).
The examination typically takes between 15 – 30 minutes.
Please inform the doctor whether you are pregnant as this will alter some of the tests we can undertake.
All the tests required will be done on the same day.
Step by step process
Step 1 - Preparation
Please bring your Passport or another form of photo ID (driving licence) with you to your appointment. Please remain well hydrated and avoid coffee before your appointment. There is no need to fast.
Step 2 - What to expect at your appointment
Your appointment with our FCDO registered doctor will last 15 minutes in which you will undergo a brief but thorough physical examination. Thereafter you will have your blood taken by the doctor. Some medicals also require a urine and stool sample. Following this you will be sent for your chest x-ray at a nearby radiology centre.
Step 3 - Results
Your fully typed report and results will be ready within the time specified. This is in working hours or days. You may either collect them in person, or we can send them to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery for an additional fee of £20. We can even scan them and securely email them to you if no hard copy is required.
If you require travel advice then please inform us prior to your appointment as we can provide up to date guidance for your peace of mind. Discover even more valuable travel tips by visiting our blog, Insights, where we share expert advice to staying safe and healthy while you travel the world!
